Pricing: what a minute costs

Ruby's receptionist plans are $250 per month for 50 minutes, $395 for 100 minutes, $720 for 200 minutes and $1,725 for 500 minutes. That works out to between $3.45 and $5.00 per included minute, and unused minutes do not roll over. Chat is a separate product from $143 per month.

SentraVoice's Starter Inbound plan is $299 for 100 minutes and 500 messages. Professional is $899 for 500 minutes, which is about $1.80 per minute with two phone lines, four agents and a CRM or calendar integration included. The 500-minute tier is where the gap is widest: $899 against $1,725.

Where Ruby wins

If your callers must hear a human being, Ruby is the benchmark. Its receptionists are trained on your instructions, and for a firm with 50 to 100 calls a month the cost is manageable. Ruby also offers live web chat staffed by people.

Where SentraVoice wins

Every call answered on the first ring regardless of how many arrive at once, no minute rationing, and the same agent working your texts and emails. SentraVoice agents qualify against your intake criteria, book straight into your calendar, and send a summary by SMS and email at hang-up. If you also want proactive follow-up, the outbound agents run call, text and email sequences with automated Do Not Call compliance, which a human receptionist service does not do.

  • Built for you, not by you. We configure every agent with your business name, tone, intake questions and scheduling rules, then keep tuning it after launch. There is no prompt builder to learn.
  • Your existing number. Calls forward from the line your customers already know. Always on, overflow only, or after hours only.
  • Every channel. Voice, SMS, email and social DMs, inbound and outbound, from one platform and one plan.
  • Qualification and booking, not message taking. The agent asks your intake questions, offers only the calendar slots you marked open, and books the appointment on the call.
  • A record of every interaction. SMS and email summary within seconds of hang-up, plus the recording and transcript in your dashboard.
  • Live within 24 hours. No setup fees, month to month, cancel anytime.

Frequently asked questions

How much cheaper is SentraVoice than Ruby?

At 100 minutes, $299 against $395 per month. At 500 minutes, $899 against $1,725. SentraVoice also includes SMS and email messages and at least one integration in those prices.

Do callers know they are talking to an AI?

SentraVoice agents use a natural neural voice with normal pacing and interruptions handled, and most callers do not realize. We recommend telling callers it is an AI assistant where your jurisdiction requires it, and we configure that into the greeting.

What happens when a caller needs to speak to a person?

When a caller needs a person, the agent offers a callback from your team and sends the summary immediately, so the callback happens with full context.

Does SentraVoice have a minimum contract?

No. Plans are month to month with no setup fee, and you can cancel anytime.
